Building materials that come in one truck kit delivery! Select our structural kit only or customize your kit with anything from roofing to interior walls. Full kits will save you time, are just more convenient and are ideal for remote locations. You will reduce waste and eliminate the need to calculate quantities. Full kits are great if you want to spend your time building, not shopping.

Plan Sets: Here is a summary of the engineering and architectural details included in our plans. Note: it’s best to review your local permitting checklist for your specific requirements.

Floor plan with window and door schedules. If you are supplying the doors and windows, you are responsible for providing us with the information that needs to be on the plans.
Electrical plan (outlets, switches, appliances, panel location). We DO NOT do electrical load calculations.
Exterior elevations.
Full engineering plan with a state-specific stamp. Additional fee applies for decks, porches and other customizations as needed. If we do not have a state stamp for your location, we acquire one at NO expense to you.
Basic plumbing plan if needed. This consists of a separate floor plan that is labeled “plumbing plan.” It shows the location of all the plumbing fixtures. We DO NOT show drain lines or supply lines.

FOUNDATION: We have two engineered foundation options in the US.

A standard crawl space design is included with our plan sets. This is with four perimeter walls and center support for the floor load. This is designed for a flat plot of land. For a Trio, the foundation is typically an 8” foundation wall with #4 rebar on 12” vertical centers and 12” horizontals (single mat). The footings are typically 36” wide and 12” deep on the two sidewalls and 24” wide on the gable walls.
A basement option that can be added to your plans ($1,500) which can work on a sloped lot. This includes a custom floor plan based on how you plan to use the basement space.
Due to the way our structural truss is engineered, a slab foundation is not feasible with the AvrameUSA system. Other custom options are possible, such as a pier and beam system, but would require custom engineering and soil samples ($1,500-$3,000).

Heating and cooling is up to you and not part of o

Heating and cooling is up to you and not part of our kit or plan sets. Our recommendation is a mini-split wall or ceiling mounted unit that is optimized for heating and cooling. The way we have optimized the living space in the AvrameUSA home does not leave a lot of extra room for a full ductwork forced air system. There are other options such as electric baseboards and various types of stoves you could consider. You may also consider a ceiling fan in the open vaulted areas of your home to help with airflow.

You've decided you want an Avrame- where do you start? 🤔INTRODUCTORY call and research phase.
BUILDER ZOOM call of the structural assembly. Your builder/framer joins this call if you are not using an owner-builder approach.
AvrameUSA provides a bid based on the kit options and any customizations (redline mark-up required) to the plans you request.
The drawings phase is initiated with receipt of initial payment ($3,500) and customization fees, nonrefundable. (New projects are currently booking 3-5 weeks out. Once begun, 3-8 weeks depending on customizations for final sets)
Final plans delivered to you, digital and hard copy. You submit for a residential building permit. This step can take a few weeks to a few months depending on your jurisdiction, start early.
Kit production and scheduling a ship date Upon permit approval, you may reserve an available kit delivery week (minimum of 8 weeks out), with a $1,000, non-refundable, ship date hold. Payment is applied towards your kit. Once you ship date is 6 weeks out you will be required to pay your 50% production payment. (New projects currently scheduling for early 2023 kit ship dates)
Shipping from SLC upon final payment. (1-7 days)

Current custom home builds in the United States av

Current custom home builds in the United States average over $200-$500 per square foot. AvrameUSA kits are designed to be considerably more affordable, from the foundation on up! The original concept was conceived with a do-it-yourself (DIY) approach in mind which will drive significant savings. However, when using a builder you also drive savings on pre-construction costs (architectural sets and engineering) and framing labor. With our pre-cut pre-drilled custom truss system, the structural assembly will happen in days vs. weeks or months with traditional practices.

What wind and snow rating are an AvrameUSA system engineered for?
Each AvrameUSA plan set includes a state-specific structural engineer stamp. This includes wind rating up to 120MPH and a ground snow load rating between 100-150lb/sqft*. Site-specific requirements can be obtained through your local building jurisdiction.

Factory fabricated, with CNC precision, our pre-cut and pre-drilled structural truss components. Each truss contains between 3-9 components depending on the model and location of the truss in the floor plan. All members are cut to size on the correct angle and with predrilled holes.
Custom hardware is fabricated for each joint in your truss aligning with the corresponding holes. The bolts and washers are provided driving a simple, user friendly bolt together experience.

Our kits start with our plan sets and assembly guides. Plan sets include architectural details (floor plans, elevation views, window schedules) and structural engineering for your state. The engineered plans include stamped detail for foundation design and structure based on your layout--this is key a required by most jurisdictions in the US. AvrameUSA’s plan sets usually eliminate the need to hire an outside engineer or architect. Making Avrames system both cost effective and fast.
